In Our Gallery in September: "Water is Our Life"
Yoko Komori Olson paints The World Beneath the Waves
Taking her cues from the swaying sea and the churning surf, Yoko Komori Olson employs splatters and splashes, drips and dollops of color to arrive at the vibrant and harmonious sub-marine landscapes of her imagination.  Whimsical sea creatures and languid plants drift through the tranquil abstraction of these captivating canvases.

Meet the artist at a reception in our Community Room on Saturday, September 13th, 2:00 -4:00pm.
Until then, our virtual gallery is open to visitors 24/7 at this link.

Teens and toddlers come together for a musical story-time

Music filled our community room during a recent story-time led by children's librarian Rosemary Amabile.  T
he 4 and 5 year olds marched, danced and sang while the teens provided the music, playing beautifully together on cello, flute, viola and violins.

What a marvelous way to celebrate Fizz, Boom, Read!
