The Art of Japanese Embroidery
Learn the art of Japanese embroidery from instructor Naokao Konno.
A series of classes for adults will be held on Thursdays, February 2, 9, 16 and 23, from 4:00-5:00pm.
Materials will be provided and registration is required (PRPL district residents will be given priority). Please stop by or call the Adult Reference Desk at ext.115 to register.
Zumba Classes Now Open for Adults!
Mondays: February 6, 13, 27 & March 12 - 7:00-8:00pm
Zumba is a Latin inspired dance fitness program that has become quite popular. Ages 11 and up are welcome to participate for four weeks at the library with a certified Zumba instructor. Registration is required for each class. Participants do not have to attend all classes but must be registered for the ones they want to attend. Call extension 115 to register.
Video Games
Check Out New Video Games @ the Library!
The Library now has video games that can be checked out by our patrons. There are games for kids, teens and adults for three different consoles; Wii, X Box 360 & PS3. Our new games are for Pearl River Patron cardholders and can circulate for three days with only one game checkout per card. Titles are listed below but we will continue to add new games so check back frequently for something new.
