It's Tax Season Again
Forms and assistance available at the Library
Volunteers from the AARP Tax Aide Program will be at the Library again this tax season to assist seniors and low-income individuals with filing their New York State and Federal personal income tax returns. From February 3rd through April 13th, trained tax counselors will be available here on Fridays from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
A supply of popular Federal and New York State tax forms and instructions are now available in our front lobby. They can also be downloaded and printed. To access click on one of the links below:
e-Book Checkouts are Booming!
Borrow an e-book from your library!
E-books are available to be downloaded to a number of
popular e-reader devices, including the Kindle, as well as the iPad and smart
phone devices. To get started click on "Digital Downloads” to access the OverDrive down load center of the Ramapo Catskill Library System.
You must have a valid library card in good standing to
borrow digital items—overdue books and fines will prevent you from logging
in. Also- be sure to log in with your borrower number and PIN before beginning your search to ensure that you have access to the
hundreds of additional titles and copies that we make available to
PRPL cardholders to shorten your waiting period for popular items. We have developed brochures with instructions to help you
with the download process. Click on the

New Catalog Update

Tips & advice (revised) on how to use our new catalog!
The new library catalog has a different look and offers additional searching options. Some aspects of the search interface are still being customized. New features will include the ability to choose alternate pickup locations for your holds and the advantage of paying overdue fines online with your credit card through a PayPal account. For more information about using the new system, please contact the Adult Reference Desk at ext. 115.
Attention Wi-Fi Users!
We've changed how Wi-Fi users log on to our wireless internet.
Laptop users no longer need a library card and password to log onto our wireless internet service. Just come into the library with your computer and connect to our Wi-Fi service for free!
