Loan Policies and Schedules
Patrons must present their own valid library card for all transactions.
Please note: Items patrons request may be loaned from other libraries. Loan periods and overdue fines are determined by the library of ownership and may be different from PRPL policies.
Adult Materials
Express/Fast Books-- 2 week loan
Books -- 4 week loan
Audiobooks -- 4 week loan (Limit 3)
Music CDs– 2 week loan (Limit 5)
Great Courses Lecture DVDs/CDs– 4 week loan (Limit 3)
Magazines – 2 week loan
Late fees are 10 cents/day per item
Museum Passes – 2 day loan (Limit 2)
Late fees are $10.00/day each pass
Children's Materials
Books -- 4 week loan
Holiday Books – 2 week loan
Audiobooks -- 4 week loan (Limit 3)
Music CDs– 2 week loan (Limit 5)
Magazines – 2 week loan
Late fees are 5 cents/day per item
CD ROM Software – 2 week loan (Limit 3)
Late fees are $1.00/day each software package
Video Materials
VHS – 7 day loan (Limit 5 per category)
DVDs – 3 day loan (Limit 3 per category)
TV Series/Travel/Info DVDs – 7 day loan (Limit 3)
Late fees are $1.00/day each VHS/DVD
Video Games - 3 day loan (Limit 1 per PRPL cardholder)
Late fees are $1.00/day
